HB 1501 -- Identity Theft

This bill increases from a class A misdemeanor to a class D
felony the penalty for identity theft which results in the theft
or appropriation of credit, money, goods, services, or other
property not exceeding $500 in value where the person whose
identity is stolen is a disabled or elderly person.  When the
value is between $500 and $5,000, the penalty is increased from a
class C felony to a class B felony.
