HB 1605 -- Utility Rate Schedules

This bill repeals the provision that allows gas corporations to
bypass general rate proceedings and directly petition the
Missouri Public Service Commission to allow periodic rate
adjustments because of the effect of the weather or customers'
conservation efforts on the demand for gas.

The provision that allows electric, gas, or water utilities to
apply for alternate rate plans because of new costs arising from
environmental regulations is also repealed.
