HB 1708 -- Suspicious Photographs

This bill creates the crime of failing to report suspicious
photographs involving a child younger than 17 years of age if the
person develops photographs through the course of his or her
employment; notices a photograph that appears to depict the
neglect, physical or sexual abuse, or other pornographic
depiction of what appears to be a child; and fails to report the
photograph to the local law enforcement agency or retain the
photograph until the law enforcement agency has the opportunity
to inspect the photograph.  The penalty will be a class A
misdemeanor for the first offense and a class D felony for
subsequent offenses.
