HB 1929 -- Prevailing Wage

Currently, workers employed on a public works project, except for
maintenance workers, are to be paid a wage of no less than the
prevailing hourly rate paid for similar work in the locality in
which the work is to be performed.  This bill exempts work on any
project with a total cost of $750,000 or less located in any
county of the third classification if approved by the governing
body by majority vote.
