HB 1947 -- Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women,
Infants, and Children

Sponsor:  Chappelle-Nadal

This bill requires the Department of Health and Senior Services,
subject to appropriation, to broaden the foods approved under the
Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and
Children (WIC Program) to include a variety of kosher foods
currently excluded because of failure to meet the federal
guidelines.
