HB 1980 -- Boat Dock Regulations

This bill prohibits a private entity licensed by the Federal
Energy Regulatory Commission to operate a hydroelectric project
on the Lake of the Ozarks from denying a noncommercial use and
occupancy permit for a boat dock on any property located in an
impact minimization zone or part of a shoreline preservation
program because the distance is under 25 feet between boat docks
or restricts the construction, maintenance, or expansion of a
dock.

The bill contains an emergency clause.
