HB 2024 -- Human Cloning

This bill prohibits any person or public or private entity from
conducting or attempting to conduct human cloning.  Anyone in
violation will be guilty of a class B felony and subject to a
civil penalty of $1 million or three times the gross pecuniary
gain resulting from the violation.

By August 28, 2007, the Attorney General will report to the
Judiciary and Civil and Criminal Jurisprudence Committee of the
Senate and the Judiciary Committee of the House of
Representatives on the personnel and resources used and the
actions taken to enforce the provisions of the bill.
