HB 2155 -- Life Sciences Research Board Grants

This bill requires the Life Sciences Research Board to establish
a program, subject to appropriations, to award grants for the
retrofitting of existing factory facilities for the production of
supplies and technology related to human stem cell research.
Recipients of the grants must enter into contracts agreeing to
operate and maintain a facility until the eighth anniversary of
the awarded grant, produce supplies and technologies used in
human stem cell research, and comply with the financial or
reporting requirements imposed by the board.
