HCS HB 1153 -- ELEVATOR SAFETY (Emery)

COMMITTEE OF ORIGIN:  Professional Registration and Licensing

This substitute changes the membership of the Elevator Safety
Board.  The substitute removes one of the members representing
elevator manufacturers and adds one new member representing
elevator installers.

The substitute contains an emergency clause.

FISCAL NOTE:  No impact on state funds in FY 2007, FY 2008, and
FY 2009.
