AN ACT

To amend chapter 566, RSMo, by adding thereto one new section relating to child molesters, with penalty provisions.




Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the state of Missouri, as follows:


            Section A. Chapter 566, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be known as section 566.255, to read as follows:

            566.255. Notwithstanding any other provision of law, no person who pleads guilty to or is found guilty of a violation of this chapter, or of violating section 568.020, RSMo, when the offense involved the offender having sexual intercourse or deviate sexual intercourse with the victim, or of violating subdivision (2) of subsection 1 of section 568.045, RSMo, when the victim of the offense was a child under the age of twelve at the time the offense was committed, shall receive a suspended imposition of sentence or a suspended execution of sentence or be placed on probation or parole until such person shall have served a minimum of three years in prison.
