HB 1015 -- State School Aid

This bill changes the proration factors for calculating the
portion of state school aid derived from the previous school
foundation formula used during the transition from the old to the
new formula.  Each fiscal year from 2007-2008 to 2011-2012, an
additional two one-hundredths will be added to the proration
factors.  Any additional revenue generated by the change must be
used for the purposes specified in the bill including increased
teacher salaries, alternative education programs, after-school
programs, and employment of additional counselors or social
workers.

The bill contains an emergency clause.
