HB 1057 -- Charter Schools

This bill expands the area where charter schools are allowed to
operate to include St. Louis County school districts.  It also
expands the potential sponsors to include all public four-year
colleges and universities with accredited teacher education
programs, private four-year institutions in Kansas City that meet
the requirements specified in the bill, and the mayor of St.
Louis City.
