HB 1140 -- Alternative Education Programs

Sponsor:  Bland

This bill requires that 1% of the School Foundation Formula,
except categorical funds, must be used annually for alternative
schools in each public school district.  Districts must offer
alternative education programs as a condition of receiving state
school aid beginning with Fiscal Year 2008.
