HB 1151 -- Special License Plates for Convicted Driving While
Intoxicated Offenders

This bill requires the issuance of a special license plate to
persons who have been found guilty of or pled guilty to driving
while intoxicated.  The special plates will be a color that is
easily distinguishable from other plates and must be displayed on
the vehicle for a one-year period.  An additional annual fee
equal to the amount charged for a personalized license plate will
be assessed.
