HB 1226 -- On-Line Course Graduation Requirement

This bill requires an on-line learning experience for high school
graduation, beginning with the 2011-2012 school year.  An on-line
learning experience will be a structured learning activity that
uses the Internet or Internet-based tools and resources for
research, instruction, assessment, and communication.  The
requirement can be met by taking an on-line course for at least
one semester or by spending at least 24 hours of time on-line
while participating in an on-line learning experience
incorporated into a required course for graduation.
