HB 1294 -- School Food Containing Trans Fats

Beginning July 1, 2008, this bill prohibits artificial trans
fats, as specified in the bill, from being used in any food sold
in public school food facilities.  In contracts negotiated after
January 1, 2008, no food containing artificial trans fats can be
sold from vending machines placed in public school food
facilities.
