HB 275 -- Domestic Violence

This bill requires law enforcement officers responding to the
scene of an alleged domestic violence incident to give written
notice to the abused party of available judicial remedies for
relief from adult abuse and available shelters for victims of
domestic violence.  Currently, victims must only be informed
verbally.
