HB 382 -- Transporting a Child Without Parental Consent Sponsor: Wildberger This bill establishes "Ashley's Law" which creates the crime of transporting a child without parental consent when a person transports a child younger than 17 years of age out of the state, without the written consent of the child's parent or legal guardian, for the purpose of committing a crime with the child as the victim or a participant of that crime.
