HB 739 -- Public Safety Enhancement Fund

This bill creates the Public Safety Enhancement Fund,
administered by the Department of Public Safety, which will
consist of moneys transferred from the General Revenue Fund to
distribute grants to counties for the purpose of supplementing
the expenses of law enforcement activities of county sheriffs'
departments.

The fund will terminate on June 11, 2011, and any moneys
remaining will revert to the General Revenue Fund.
