HB 812 -- Fraudulent Signatures on Petitions Sponsor: Storch Currently, a person is guilty of a class A misdemeanor with a maximum penalty of one year in prison and/or a fine of up to $10,000 for knowingly signing a name that is not his or her own to an initiative petition.
