HB 842 -- Metallic Minerals Waste Management Sponsor: Cooper (158) Currently, any person receiving metallic minerals waste management area permits from the Department of Natural Resources must file a demonstration of financial assurance in the form of a bond, certificate of deposit, letter of credit, insurance, company guarantee, escrow agreement, or other form of financial assurance approved by the department. This bill specifies that company guarantees and other forms of assurance will no longer be accepted. Anyone who obtained a permit with an unacceptable form of assurance must comply with the provisions of the bill within six months of August 28, 2007.Copyright (c) Missouri House of Representatives
