HB 845 -- Voter Registration

This bill allows applicants for hunting and fishing licenses to
register to vote by completing a voter registration form at the
store selling the license or mailing it to the appropriate
election authority.  The same rules for verifying a person's
identity will apply, and the Secretary of State may establish
rules to govern the application process.  The Department of
Conservation's web site is to provide a link to the web site of
the applicant's election authority if available.  Information
collected by those registering to vote will be used only for the
purpose of voter registration.
