HB 855 -- Conversion of Manufactured Homes

This bill requires a manufactured homeowner to notify the county
assessor when a manufactured home is converted to real property
and requires the certificate of title to be returned to the
Director of the Department of Revenue.

When a manufactured home is converted from real property to
personal property, the seller must notify the county assessor and
the department director must issue a manufactured home title
after the seller submits the required documents and applicable
fees and taxes.
