This bill requires that any dog, cat, or ferret that bites a
person must be placed under observation for 10 days. Animals
with a current rabies vaccination will be confined to a location

licensed veterinarian. Animals not infected can be reclaimed by
their owner after 10 days. Infected animals will be humanely
euthanized. Strays will be immediately euthanized with the head

with the potential to expose a person to rabies will be managed
on a case-by-case basis.

Any person who violates the provisions of the bill will be guilty
