HB 981 -- Enticement of a Child

Currently, a person is guilty of the crime of enticement of a
child if the person is at least 21 years of age and persuades,
solicits, coaxes, entices, or lures either by words, actions, or
through communication via the Internet or any other electronic
device a person who is younger than 15 years of age.  This bill
expands the crime to include victims who are younger than 17
years of age or any individual the person believes is younger
than 17 years of age.
