HB 915 -- BINGO TAX EXEMPTION FOR CERTAIN ORGANIZATIONS

COMMITTEE OF ORIGIN:  Special Committee on Veterans

Currently, all bingo card suppliers must pay a tax equal to
two-tenths of one cent on each bingo card sold in Missouri.  This
bill exempts veterans', service, and fraternal organizations from
this tax.

FISCAL NOTE:  No impact on General Revenue Fund in FY 2008,
FY 2009, and FY 2010.  Estimated Cost on Other State Funds of
$1,115,000 in FY 2008, $1,338,000 in FY 2009, and $1,338,000 in
FY 2010.
