AN ACT

To amend chapter 660, RSMo, by adding thereto one new section relating to utilicare.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the state of Missouri, as follows:

            Section A. Chapter 660, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be known as section 660.121, to read as follows:

            660.121. Any qualified individual household receiving crisis assistance through the state utilicare program or the Federal Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program shall not be prohibited from receiving an assessment of additional needs, and shall be encouraged to attend any appropriate financial management workshop, energy conservation workshop, and any other education program conducted by the community action agencies as defined in sections 660.370 to 660.374.
