AN ACT

To amend chapter 8, RSMo, by adding thereto one new section relating to use of public lands.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the state of Missouri, as follows:

            Section A. Chapter 8, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be known as section 8.890, to read as follows:

            8.890. No resident of this state shall be denied access to any public land owned, managed, or funded by the state of Missouri for the purpose of riding horses or mules if sufficient acreage exists to permit such use; except that, such access may be denied if such use is contraindicated based on available scientific or geological data, or such use is contrary or detrimental to the current usage of such lands by the state of Missouri.
