AN ACT

To amend chapter 227, RSMo, by adding thereto one new section relating to the designation of a memorial highway.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the state of Missouri, as follows:

            Section A. Chapter 227, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be known as section 227.387, to read as follows:

            227.387. The portion of Interstate 44 in the county of the third classification without a township form of government and with more than thirty-five thousand two hundred but fewer than thirty-five thousand three hundred inhabitants from the intersection of route H east to the intersection of highway 265/39 shall be designated the "Purple Heart Memorial Highway". Costs for such designation shall be paid by private donations.
