AN ACT

To amend chapter 443, RSMo, by adding thereto one new section relating to foreclosure on mortgage loans.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the state of Missouri, as follows:

            Section A. Chapter 443, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be known as section 443.192, to read as follows:

            443.192. No bank, savings and loan association, credit union, mortgage banker, or lending institution shall foreclose on a mortgage loan for up to eighteen months for any veteran no longer on active duty and who has made a good faith claim for disability benefits.
