AN ACT

To amend chapter 252, RSMo, by adding thereto one new section relating to deer hunting.




Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the state of Missouri, as follows:


            Section A. Chapter 252, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be known as section 252.044, to read as follows:

            252.044. Notwithstanding any provision of 3 CSR 10-7.431 or any other state law or rule to the contrary, a person who owns, controls, or harbors a dog that is maintained on a leash at all times may use such dog to track deer that have been killed or wounded by a person who is engaged in the lawful hunting of deer.
