HB 1689 -- GOVERNOR'S COUNCIL ON DISABILITY

COMMITTEE ACTION:  Voted "do pass by consent" by the Special
Committee on Health Insurance by a vote of 6 to 0.

This bill transfers the Governor's Council on Disability from the
Department of Labor and Industrial Relations to the Office of
Administration.

FISCAL NOTE:  No impact on state funds in FY 2009, FY 2010, and
FY 2011.

PROPONENTS:  Supporters say that the transfer has been
recommended by the Governor.

Testifying for the bill were Representative Wilson (130); and
Office of Administration.

OPPONENTS:  There was no opposition voiced to the committee.
