Summary of the Introduced Bill

HB 1318 -- Disclosure of Employment Information

Sponsor:  Davis

This bill specifies that disclosure of an employee's job
performance information by an employer or his or her employee to
a prospective employer is presumed to be provided in good faith.
An employer will be immune from civil liability for the
disclosure or its consequences unless lack of good faith is
shown.
