HB 1330 -- Smoking Cessation

Sponsor:  Sater

Beginning July 1, 2008, this bill requires the state to match the
amount of any grant money received for smoking cessation.  The
Department of Health and Senior Services, subject to
appropriations, will issue matching funds to eligible recipients.
State matching grant money cannot exceed $2 million in any fiscal
year.

The bill contains an emergency clause.
