HB 1364 -- Compensation for Retired State Highway Patrol Officers

Subject to appropriations, this bill establishes a per diem and a
mileage and travel reimbursement for a retired State Highway
Patrol officer who is required to be a witness in an official
court proceeding more than 30 miles from his or her residence.
Currently, retired officers are not reimbursed for any expenses
incurred as a result of testimony required in trials that extend
beyond their retirement date.
