HB 1487 -- Sexual Offenders in State Parks Sponsor: Fallert This bill requires any registered sexual offender prior to camping at a state park to notify, in writing, a ranger of the park in which the person will be camping. The notification must include the person's name, address, and county of residence; the fact that the person is a registered sexual offender; the name and location of the state park at which the person will be camping; the date and time the person will be camping; the location of the campground; and the license number of any vehicle that the person will be utilizing in the park. Any sexual offender who violates a provision of the bill will be guilty of a class A misdemeanor.Copyright (c) Missouri House of Representatives
