HB 1513 -- Emergency Drought Conditions Sponsor: Bruns This bill makes it unlawful for any person to set fire to or to burn trash or other material in an area proclaimed by an executive order of the Governor to be in extraordinary danger from fire due to emergency drought conditions unless the fire was set as a backfire by a local, state, or federal fire agency as part of fire suppression activities or was a prescribed burn conducted by authorized state or federal agencies and contained to state or federally owned lands. Any person who violates these provisions will be guilty of a class A misdemeanor.Copyright (c) Missouri House of Representatives
