HB 1605 -- Proof of Lawful Presence

This bill allows an applicant for the renewal of a noncommercial
driver's license, noncommercial instruction permit, or
nondriver's license to submit a photocopy of his or her birth
certificate along with another form of identification approved by
the Department of Revenue, including military identification or
military discharge papers, as proof of lawful presence.
