HB 1669 -- Retirement of State Employees who are Veterans

This bill allows a state employee, with at least 10 years of
creditable service in the Missouri State Employees' Retirement
System, to receive two years of creditable service free of charge
if the employee:

(1)  Is a veteran that served at least two years on active duty
in the United States armed forces or any reserve unit; or

(2)  While serving as a member of the National Guard or any
reserve unit was activated to serve in any war or conflict for a
period of at least one year.
