HB 1683 -- Internet Bullying

Sponsor:  Meiners

Currently, school districts must have an antibullying policy.
This bill revises the definition of "bullying" to include any
communication over the Internet and prohibits any person from
communicating over the Internet with the intent to intimidate or
harass another person causing fear for his or her safety or
property.  Any person violating this provision will be guilty of
a class A misdemeanor or a class D felony if the violation
results in physical harm to a person or property.
