HB 1707 -- Design-Build Contracts for School Districts

This bill authorizes school districts to enter into design-build
contracts for construction projects costing more than $15,000.
Design-build procedures are established regarding the process in
individual school districts including requesting proposals,
advertising, awarding contracts, employing an architect or
engineer, and setting requirements for bonding and contractor
licensure and exemptions.
