HB 1721 -- Price Cap on Fuels

Beginning January 1, 2009, this bill establishes a price cap of
$3 per gallon on gasoline and $3 per 1,000 cubic feet of natural
gas sold to Missouri consumers.  Prices may increase due to
inflation at a rate not to exceed five cents per gallon per year
or five cents per 1,000 cubic feet per year.

The provisions of the bill will expire five years from the
effective date.
