HB 1798 -- Landowner Liability Protection Act

This bill establishes the Landowner Liability Protection Act
which specifies that a landowner who permits or invites without
charge another person to use his or her land for hunting or
fishing purposes does not extend any assurance that the premises
are safe for any purpose, confer upon the person the legal status
of an invitee or licensee to whom a duty of care is owed, or
assume responsibility for or incur liability for any injury to
the person or property caused by an act or omission by the person
or while hunting or fishing.
