HB 1941 -- Stealing Livestock

This bill adds farm-raised quail and pheasant to the list of
animals considered as livestock as it applies to the crime of
stealing.  The crime will be a class C felony unless the value of
the stolen birds exceeds $3,000 in which case it will be a class
B felony.

Any person found guilty of stealing livestock valued at more than
$3,000 who has a prior stealing conviction must serve at least
80% of his or her prison term before being eligible for
probation, parole, or release.
