Summary of the Introduced Bill

HB 2034 -- Firearm Ranges and Hunting Preserves

Sponsor: Munzlinger

This bill defines "hunting preserve" as any hunting preserve or
licensed shooting area operating under a permit granted by the
Department of Conservation and specifies that all owners and
users of existing hunting preserves will be immune from criminal
and civil liability and not subject to any action for public or
private nuisance or trespass due to any noise or sound emission
resulting from the normal use of the preserve.

Criminal liability immunity for owners of firearm ranges is
expanded to include users of the ranges and for immunity from any
civil liability.
