HB 2145 -- No-Call List

This bill prohibits telephone solicitations to residential
subscribers using wireless phones, faxes, and text messaging
unless the calls conform to the current No-call List
requirements.

The use of automatic dialing announcing devices for placing calls
to residential subscribers on the No-call List is prohibited.  If
the prohibition is ruled ineffective for any reason, the bill
specifies the use of automatic dialing announcing devices.
Certain educational information requirements regarding the
No-call List by the Attorney General's Office are removed.
