HB 2172 -- Railroad Crossing Safety Sponsor: Deeken This bill prohibits railroads from storing any engine or rolling stock within 250 feet of any railroad crossing. When a railroad is parting a train to clear a crossing, an employee of the railroad must be on the ground at the crossing to warn approaching motorists of engines or rolling stock approaching on any track. Any railroad in violation of these provisions will be penalized in accordance with Section 622.480, RSMo.Copyright (c) Missouri House of Representatives
