HB 2254 -- Conservation Commission Advisory Board Sponsor: Quinn (7) This bill establishes the Conservation Commission Advisory Board within the Department of Conservation to assist the Conservation Commission. The board will be staffed by the department and will consist of one member from each of the eight established conservation districts with no more than four from the same political party. Four of the members must obtain a substantial percentage of their income from farming activities, and each member will serve a staggered four-year term. The board is required to meet at least twice annually and to report each year to the commission, General Assembly, and Governor.Copyright (c) Missouri House of Representatives
