HB 2340 -- Domestic Violence

This bill revises the definitions of "domestic violence" and
"family or household member" to include a person who is or has
been in a continuing romantic or intimate relationship with the
victim or adults having a child in common regardless of whether
they have been married or lived together so that those terms are
consistent with regard to all reported incidents of domestic
violence in the Missouri Crime Index, domestic violence shelters,
the reporting of homicides and suicides related to domestic
violence, and domestic violence crimes.
