HB 2344 -- Child Support Liens

Currently, the Director of the Department of Revenue is
authorized to file a lien blocking the issuance of a certificate
of ownership for motor vehicles, motor boats, outboard motors,
manufactured homes, and trailers when a person has an unpaid
child support obligation exceeding $1,000.  This bill changes the
requirement to when the obligor owes six months of child support,
regardless of the dollar amount.
